I found this frame and thought it would be perfect for a zendala tile though I don't do them all that often. I chose to do another phicops but this time in a circle instead of another spiral shape. Not really sure if this qualifies as a true zendala or not but that's ok.
I really like the phicops tangle. I find it both easy and enjoyable to draw. That's probably why I tend to draw it so often.
I like the way it fits the frame... though due to the color of the frame with that matte silver finish I may decide to do another tile on a black background to see if I like that one better. But for now, I will leave it as is.
The background tile is a light tan and I used an 01 micron pen with some shading done in pencil... (the frame in the 2nd photo is a 4" frame)

Yin Yang Daisy ZIA
I've wanted to do one of these for a while but could not figure out a way to make both sides even. Until yesterday, that is. I finally came up with a way to make it work and it was alright to use that way since this tile was a 'ZIA' or at least I thought so.
Anyway, the tile itself is 3.5" in size and a tan kind of color. Tangles used are Hollibough and a sort of daisy type flower.

Renaissance Peels...
Renaissance (tan) tile with Peels, aka: garlic...
I've seen this with both names so I'm not sure what to call it...
I started out with a rounded sort of border but for whatever reason this pattern didn't seem to want to follow it...
Note: I added tan in parentheses after Renaissance because this isn't a true
Renaissance tile. It is just similar in color...

Ing with friends...
I've always liked the way Ing looked but haven't really used it as much as I'd like to.
I chose to do this particular tile on tan paper and used printemps, florz & pokeroot to accompany Ing with a smidgen of white charcoal pencil for shading.
The pokeroot in this one reminds me a bit of hollibaugh but that's alright. I like the hollibaugh pattern.
